Birding and Wildlife Tour
A full day birding and wildlife tour of Cairns and the Atherton Tabelands.
On this relaxed tropical birding and wildlife tour you will visit a variety of habitats, including rainforest, woodland, wetland, grassland and mangroves.
This is the richest avifaunal region in Australia, and you can expect to see between 90 and 110 species of bird in a day. Many of the birds, including the parrots and kingfishers are very colourful, and there is the chance to see some of the local endemics, such as Victoria's Riflebird and Chowchilla.
In addition, we have a good chance of seeing a selection of other wildlife, such as kangaroos, wallabies, platypus, reptiles and butterflies.
