Departs Cairns: 13:30pm
Returns Cairns: 21:30pm
Your wildlife tour begins with a visit to a mob of Agile Wallabies in Cairns, followed by a scenic drive up the winding Gillies Range to the Tablelands. After refreshments at Lake Barrine, enjoy a rainforest walk to see Twin Bull Kauri Pines and spot unique species like Boyd’s Forest Dragon, Musky Rat Kangaroo, and rainforest birds.
We then head to our Platypus viewing area — a tour highlight — before enjoying dinner at Yungaburra Hotel. After dark, spotlighting begins near the Curtain Fig Tree, revealing nocturnal wildlife. Clear nights offer amazing stargazing with views of the Southern Cross and Milky Way.
Tour concludes around 21:30 in Cairns (22:00 for Northern Beaches).

This tour involves walking 3–4 km, occasionally on uneven or muddy terrain. Suitable for individuals able to walk 1 km unaided. Please assess your walking ability before booking.
